What is expected of you?

Perform the necessary operational simulations to allocate resources, including drivers, to different services, proposing strategies for better optimization
Ensure resources are allocated appropriately to services, adhering to defined rules and considering maintenance requirements
Assign drivers to duties while strictly complying with safety parameters set by the Company
Utilize relevant scheduling and allocating programs and other technical tools in the area
Conduct a thorough study of the transport network and classify routes by areas or geographical regions
Regularly generate reports, including specific KPIs, to assess detailed performance of individual routes or groups at various times
Analyse route efficiency from multiple perspectives, including the company, drivers, and customers, taking various factors
Provide assistance to the planning team during the finalization process
Prepare reports within their expertise as requested by their immediate superior
Maintain appropriate relations with IT suppliers to ensure up-to-date IT equipment
Promptly address and resolve issues throughout the day and prepare reports
Ensure compliance with security policies, risk prevention, data protection, quality, and environmental policies within their area of responsibility
Collaborate with the Planning Manager and Operations Director to fulfil all necessary tasks effectively

What are you expected to bring?

A degree related to Mathematics and/or Statistics
Proficiency in both written and verbal English
Experience in managing transport networks will be advantageous
Familiarity with IT tools and proficiency with advanced Excel
Highly organized and results-oriented
An eye for details and strong analytical skills
Management skills and ability to meet deadlines
