Are you looking for your next management role? Do you have experience in the transfer agency environment? We are seeking a Transfer Agency Manager on behalf of a global company to manage the performance and development of their transfer agency team while providing excellent customer service and adhering to full compliance with regulatory and fund requirements.  What’s expected of you?

 

  • Manage all aspects of operations, including subscriptions, redemptions, transfers, and switches
  • Ensure that the Transfer Agency procedures and policies are kept in line with regulations, both locally and globally
  • Regularly review procedures across Fund Services
  • Ensure group policies are adhered to
  • Identify and implement process improvements across the department
  • Manage oversight outsourcing for funds contracted from other jurisdictions
  • Monitor and develop KRI metrics for the department
  • Monitor operational risk across the business
  • Optimise the existing operational risk framework
  • Provide periodic feedback and reports to senior management
  • Keep up-to-date with all regulatory and internal risk updates that impact the business
  • Ensure that operations teams have the necessary knowledge to deal with the relevant updates
  • Deliver all regulatory reporting (onshore and offshore) within the required timeframes
  • Review and discuss fund governing documents with staff and clients
  • Respond to investors and audit related enquiries
  • Manage local and international client relationships
  • Contribute to building teams and training

 

 

What are you expected to bring?

 

  • Have at least 2 years’ experience in a supervisory/management role
  • A minimum of 5 years’ work experience in a Transfer Agency environment with exposure to multiple fund structures
  • Capable of working under pressure and meeting strict deadlines
  • A strong command of spoken and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Access
  • Experience with PFS - Paxus will be considered an asset
