Our client, a well-established transportation company based in Malta, is currently looking for a proactive Team Supervisor to ensure effective management of heavy vehicle repairs, diagnostics, and overall productivity. What's expected of you?
- Coordinate and support breakdown diagnostics and engage with external mechanics as required
- Allocate tasks to mechanics and electricians, supervising team performance and ensuring adherence to company standards
- Maintain precise records on platforms like Maximo, including the timely update of work orders and hour
- Ensure accurate communication between workshops, parts departments, and quality control, guaranteeing traceable records and job card documentation
- Oversee warranty processes, liaise with stores on parts procurement, and track stock needs
- Supervise, assign, and evaluate daily tasks to enhance productivity and efficiency in line with safety protocol
- Manage workspaces, including cleanliness, tool organization, and hazardous waste, adhering to health and safety standards
What are you expected to bring?
- A minimum of 5 years in heavy vehicle maintenance and repair, including Euro 6 engines
- Knowledge of safety regulations and quality control
- Proficiency in English
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team
