Senior HR Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior HR Manager to lead a small team of HR professionals and deliver proactive business support by managing the HR strategy and agenda. Interested? What's expected of you?

  • Overseeing daily HR operations and managing HR processes
  • Act as the Senior HR professional, providing HR support and advice on all  employees-related matters
  • Collaborate with the Department Manager and International HR Directors to implement key HR strategies and change initiatives
  • Provide regular feedback and appraisals and maximise employees’ performance and development through regular coaching and development
  • Manage employee relations, including collective pay negotiations and working closely with the site's collective body
  • Coach and mentor managers on HR challenges, helping improve business performance
  • Identify staff development needs and coordinate with the learning and development centre to deliver appropriate solutions
  • Oversee recruitment activities and support long-term attraction and retention strategies
  • Lead HR cycle processes, including Pay Review and Talent Review, and support reward activities such as job evaluations and recognition programs
  • Champion employee engagement efforts, including Employee Survey action planning, and tailor internal communication for site-specific needs

 

What are you expected to bring?

  • MQF Level 6 qualification in HR or related subject
  • Broad experience in HR across both unionised and non-unionised environments.
  • Strong experience managing HR functions, including grievances, disciplinary procedures, employee relations, recruitment, compensation, and talent management
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage confidential matters and build strong stakeholder relationships
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage a busy workload
  • Proven experience in leading and managing a team of HR professionals
