Senior Finance Executive

What is expected of you?

• Prepare monthly accruals and prepayments as part of the accounting process
• Record and process journal entries
• Support month-end closing procedures
• Serve as a point of contact for Finance Executives, addressing issues and escalating when necessary
• Coordinate tasks to meet deadlines as required
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry into the system
• Verify adherence to procedures before inputting information
• Evaluate internal accounting procedures, policies, and controls, suggesting improvements as needed
• Assist the finance department and accounting staff with various tasks
• Act as a backup for specific responsibilities, researching, tracking, and resolving accounting or documentation issues or referring them appropriately
• Liaise with other departments to exchange information and correct transactions
• Perform other duties as assigned by the CFO or any person designated by him
• Adhere to all company policies and protocols

What are you expected to bring?

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar environment
• Proficient in written and spoken English
• Exceptionally organized with a track record of achieving targets
• Ability to drive change, take initiative, and fulfil necessary tasks
• Be team player, capable of monitoring team performance and delivering high-quality results within tight deadlines
• Have strong leadership qualities and a commitment to continuous learning
• Skilled in work planning and time management
