Senior Accountant - Italian Speaking

What is expected of you?

• Manage day-to-day accounting duties and ensure the smooth running of the department
• Manage the month-end process leading to the submission of accurate monthly management accounts in a timely manner
• Assist in end of year financial statements and annual audit
• Prepare reports or other analysis on an ad-hoc basis
• Management of cashflow, intercompany loans and reconciliations
• Coordinate payments
• Assistance and management of ad-hoc projects
• Assist in tax compliance and liaising with external tax consultants as required
• Assist with the compliance of relevant laws & registry requirements, internal regulations and procedures and privacy requirements
• Liaise with relevant authorities and internal departments
• Assist the Finance Manager with any ad-hoc requirements

What are you expected to bring?

• Applicants must be fully qualified accounting professionals or currently in the final stages of attaining an accounting qualification such as ACCA
• Experience in a similar position would be considered an asset
• Written and spoken English & Italian
• Focus on achieving targets and meeting deadlines
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Strong work ethic
• Knowledge of SAP would be considered an asset.
