What is expected of you?
Communicate with customers to develop sales opportunities and/or solve problems, consultative sales
Cultivate sales within the commercial and the industrial buildings
Meet with existing and prospective customers, assess customers’ needs, and sell technical and mechanical goods and services
Develop scope of work for each proposal and personally handle every detail from initial call/meeting to closure of sales
Assist customers and stocks merchandise in the building materials and supplies department of the warehouse
Provide technical information and guides customers in the selection of building materials and supplies
What are you expected to bring?
Initiative and eagerness to learn
Fluency in written and spoken English
Computer literacy, preferably with ECDL
Can do attitude
Experience of sales with construction materials would be preferred but not essential.
Have a good technical knowledge of building materials
Be sales oriented and able to work on own initiative
Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be a good team player
Previous experience in a similar position is a must
