What is expected of you?
- Recruit, lead, and develop a team of professionals specializing in financial compliance, analysis, and supervision.
- Foster collaboration and ensure a high-quality stakeholder experience.
- Deliver training programs and enhance team capabilities across roles and functions.
- Identify and manage financial and operational risks impacting regulated entities.
- Design and implement risk mitigation strategies and monitor their effectiveness.
- Oversee the assessment of financial reports, audits, compliance submissions, and special projects.
- Develop and maintain internal procedures that align with strategic departmental objectives.
- Provide regular reporting and updates to senior management and relevant oversight bodies.
- Ensure the team meets established goals and adheres to professional standards.
- Build strong, cooperative relationships with internal teams and regulated entities.
- Represent the organization at industry functions and events as necessary.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned by senior leadership.
What are you expected to bring?
- A degree in Finance or a related field (MQF Level 6 or equivalent or higher).
- Professional experience in regulatory affairs, finance, auditing, or compliance; experience in the gaming or similar regulated sectors is considered advantageous.
- Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks; familiarity with sector-specific legislation is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- High level of attention to detail, organizational skills, and leadership capability.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure and clearly communicate identified risks.
