What's expected of you?

Conduct quantity surveying and oversee the review of project drawings
Manage project costs, ensuring budget adherence and addressing potential overruns
Prepare cost analysis reports and advise on third-party quotations and market prices
Perform risk management, cost control, and document project variances
Collaborate with project teams to optimize costs and ensure quality services
Supervise procurement schedules and the preparation of bills of quantities
Coordinate site inspections and ensure timely collection of documentation
Liaise with contractors and supervisors, maintaining professional relationships
Drive process improvements and provide solutions for complex challenges
Report progress to senior management and safeguard organizational interests
Lead and participate in training programs to enhance team expertise

What are you expected to bring?

An Advanced Diploma (MQF/EQF Level 4) in Construction Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or an equivalent
Proven experience in engineering and quantity surveying
Proficient user of Auto-CAD
Strong analytical and numerical skills
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities

A valid clean police conduct, not older than six months
A maltese B driving license
