Product Leader

What’s expected of you?

• Manage the day to day running of assigned resources, ensuring the products are produced in the most economic and efficient manner at the required quality standards
• Plan production and follow up execution
• Measure and monitor production, quality, and waste
• Lead, manage, and coordinate manpower, materials, and support services
• Implement and follow up on process improvements, supporting R&D projects
• Ensure health and safety measures, quality standards, and HACCP procedures are met
• Manage effective and economical cleaning procedures to maintain the required hygienic standards
• Investigate customer complaints and take corrective and preventive actions to ensure customer demands are met
• Monitor the team’s overtime and deliver training as required
• Create and update documentation related to all processes

What are you expected to bring?

• A certificate or diploma in a science-related area will be preferred
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment or in a food preparation establishment will be considered an asset
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
• Good communication skills in English and also Maltese ideally
• Excellent Leadership, problem solving, and organisational skills
