Are you a reliable and energetic person who seeks continuous improvement? A large Maltese transport company is looking for a Planning Analyst to join their Operations Team. If you have the drive to succeed, Ceek would like to hear from you!

What is expected of you?

Cooperate with the Planning Manager and provide regular reports regarding all needed matters
Study and plan the transport network to get a better understanding of routes and geographical areas
Identify and propose solutions for any factor that could possibly affect the efficiency of a route, such as traffic, road closures, delays, safety hazards, etc.
Develop the proper tool to predict future running times
Solve all incidents and changes caused by journey disruptions
Use the scheduling and allocating program and all the other needed tools
Ensure compliance with security policies, risk prevention, and other responsibilities
Brief drivers and other personnel as well as conduct internal workshops to improve the efficiency of every route

What are you expected to bring?

University Degree in a related field
Previous experience in the management of transport networks will be considered an asset
Excellent verbal and written English
Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office
Ability to work effectively under pressure or deadline
Strong analytical skills coupled with good problem-solving abilities
