Are you a detailed-oriented administrator with a flair for numbers? We're seeking a Part-Time Payroll Administrator for our client, a top-tier company in the manufacturing sector. Excited to join a dynamic team in the South of Malta? We at Ceek would love to hear from you!

 

What's expected of you?

  • Enter time and attendance data accurately
  • Investigate significant discrepancies in time and attendance following established guidelines and procedures
  • Process approved payroll, including pre- and post-tax adjustments to employee wages, and finalise periodic payrolls
  • Submit all necessary local documentation to the Inland Revenue
  • Prepare payments for authorization
  • Address employee inquiries about pay and provide accurate payroll information
  • Support other finance sections as needed
  • Adhere to company policies and guidelines, with a focus on values, behaviours, environmental health and safety, ethics, and codes of conduct

 

What are you expected to bring?

  • A minimum of an “O” level in Mathematics and English
  • Familiarity with payroll software; experience with SB Indigo is a plus
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Effective communication skills across all levels of the business
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
  • Understanding of generally accepted accounting and bookkeeping principles and procedures
