Payments Officer

A client of ours, a leading Bank in Malta, is currently seeking to recruit a Payments Officer who has a positive attitude and strong work ethics to join a multi-cultural team. If you have what it takes, Ceek would like to hear from you!

What is expected of you?

• Provide an exceptional customer service to the bank’s customer base
• Assist customers by handling account-related enquiries and problems
• Oversee accurate data input and maintenance of client information in the bank system
• Ensure maximum security and confidentiality of customers' assets and information
• Handle electronic payments processing, preparation of statements and posting to the core banking system
• Update client files including KYC and CDD related information

What are you expected to bring?

• Possess a degree in banking or finance or equivalent qualifications
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in banking or financial services, working with customer payments and deposits
• Ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong critical thinking to resolve difficult issues
• Proficient computer user as well as in Microsoft Office tool
• Able to maintain a positive attitude and work under pressure
• Excellent communication skills in English
