What's expected of you?

Ensure the smooth delivery of confirmed groups and events, as well as proactively source new business
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and economic conditions, sharing insights with the team
Upsell on confirmed groups, anticipate potential opportunities, and develop new business
Attend sales meetings and engage in sales activities, including appointments, site inspections, fam trips, and client entertainment
Maintain detailed knowledge of the property to provide clients with accurate information for seamless event delivery
Oversee and maintain the sales database, ensuring data accuracy and adherence to sales policies
Resolve client issues during group events, escalating to department heads when needed
Conduct competitor market surveys and provide recommendations to stay competitive
Manage ad-hoc projects to meet business needs and support hotel operations during peak periods
Refer business opportunities from other sectors to appropriate team members for follow-up
Build and maintain strong relationships with designated clients as the main point of contact
Focus on achieving sales goals in alignment with the department's strategic objectives
Foster a harmonious team environment and promote company values
