What is expected of you?

Carry out regular maintenance and service tasks on trucks and trailers, including oil changes, brake checks, and tire replacements
Identify mechanical and electrical problems using diagnostic equipment and effective troubleshooting methods
Fix or replace defective parts such as engines, transmissions, braking systems, and suspension components
Perform safety inspections to ensure all vehicles meet company policies and regulatory requirements
Keep thorough and up-to-date records of all maintenance, repairs, and services completed
Respond to emergency roadside repair situations when required
Work collaboratively with fellow mechanics and staff to support smooth and efficient operations
Comply with all health and safety guidelines while ensuring the workspace remains clean and well-organized

What are you expected to bring?

Demonstrated experience working as a truck and trailer mechanic or in a comparable position
In-depth understanding of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components
Skilled in identifying and fixing mechanical and technical issues
Competent in operating diagnostic tools and various repair instruments
Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team setting
Strong communication abilities and effective problem-solving skills
Possession of a valid driver’s license (C or CE category preferred)
Holding certifications in mechanical repair or automotive technology is an advantage
