What is expected of you?

Conduct topographical and construction surveys using Leica TS12 Total Station, ensuring accuracy and reliability of data.

Perform precise site setting out for roads, drainage systems, curbs, utilities, and other key infrastructure elements.

Establish and maintain control points and benchmarks across project sites to support accurate construction alignment.

Interpret construction drawings, CAD files, and design specifications to guide field surveying activities.

Collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to ensure survey data meets design requirements and tolerances.

Collect, process, and deliver survey data in standardized formats such as CAD, CSV, and DWG for seamless integration into project workflows.

Monitor on-site construction progress, verifying levels and alignments against approved design plans and reporting discrepancies.

Maintain detailed records including survey logs, equipment calibration data, and comprehensive field notes.

Assist with the preparation of as-built documentation and drawings for project completion and handover.

Uphold health and safety standards during all survey operations and ensure proper maintenance of the Leica TS12 and related equipment.
What are you expected to bring?

Diploma or degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a closely related discipline.

At least 3 years of hands-on experience in land surveying, particularly within civil engineering or road construction projects.

Skilled in the use of Leica TS13 Total Station for accurate field measurements and data collection.

Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or equivalent design and drafting software.

Solid understanding of horizontal and vertical alignment principles in roadworks and infrastructure development.

Strong ability to interpret construction plans, technical drawings, and related documentation.

Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data collection and reporting.

Effective communicator with the ability to work independently and manage site responsibilities confidently.
