Junior Client Accountant

What is expected from you?

• Update clients’ accounting records and ensure that they are in line with the risk and compliance policies
• Handle clients’ accounts and corporate requirements
• Assist with the preparation of management accounts in accordance with accounting standards
• Liaise with external auditors and manage audit processes of clients
• Carry out any other ad hoc duty that might come up

What are you expected to bring?

• In the initial stages of ACCA qualification
• Proven experience in a client accounting role
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Good understanding of the preparation of financial statements
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially in Excel, as well as XERO accounting software
• Strong team-playing skills
• The ability to work efficiently in stressful situations and meet demanding deadlines
