Junior Accountant

An expanding international supermarket chain is on the lookout for a skilled Junior Accountant to join their dynamic team. If you are passionate about numbers and excited to elevate your accounting career, this opportunity could be just what you’ve been waiting for!

What is expected of you?

• Provide daily support to the assistant manager accounts, ensuring smooth operations.
• Perform routine accounting tasks, maintaining accurate and timely financial records.
• Register invoices, ensuring they are accurately entered into the accounting system.
• Assist in supplier and other reconciliations, ensuring discrepancies are resolved promptly.
• Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to facilitate effective communication and resolve issues.
• Maintain and update suppliers’ master data to ensure accuracy and completeness.

What are you expected to bring?

• Hold an AAT qualification, Accounts A-Level, or have relevant work experience.
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset.
• Demonstrates a strong work ethic.
• High level of attention to detail.
