IT Systems Administrator

Are you energetic and self-motivated? Do you have experience in application software? We are looking for an IT Systems Administrator to join a technology company based here in Malta. If you’ve got the right skills, we would love to hear from you!

What’s expected of you?

• Monitor and maintain application software on Windows and Linux platforms that run on a MySQL/MS-SQL and Apache/IIS backend
• Solve hardware and software problems 
• Provide support to all live systems and in-house applications
• Liaise with various authorities
• Ad hoc duties as required from time to time

What are you expected to bring?

• IT Diploma or equivalent
• 2-3 years’ experience in a similar position
• MCSE and/or LPI will be considered an asset
• Knowledge of Windows (preferably Linux), LAN/WAN, and MySQL
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Strong written and oral communication in English, knowledge of Maltese is an asset
• Able to hold a professional attitude at all times
• Be prepared to travel outside of Malta for business assignments
