HR Manager

Are you an experienced HR Manager who is looking for a new challenge?  Would you like to work in a leading and well-established manufacturing company in Malta? What is expected from you?

  • Handle the training process of new candidates as well as develop training programs according to company needs and coordinate delivery of training.            
  • Carry out tasks related to recruitment and liaise with head-hunters and recruitment agencies
  • Analyze different matters such as employee satisfaction and present reports and recommendations
  • Ensure that employee-related data is updated and compliant with GDPR
  • Oversee the payroll process
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate HR policies, procedures, practices, and employee handbook of the company.
  • Implement strategies to keep the employees motivated and updated as needed
  • Ensure compliance with standards and legislations relating to employees’ rights, health and safety, and other related concerns.
  • Represent the company at court hearings dealing with HR matters
  • Carry out any other ad hoc duty such as organizing exit interviews with employees leaving the company or participating in job fairs
  • Implement and monitor performance management procedures and assist with the training of management to deliver effective appraisals.        

 

What are you expected to bring?

  • Good knowledge of the principal and practices of Human Resources Management as well as employment legislation and regulation and health and safety procedures
  • Strong people management and supervisory skills coupled with the ability to work under pressure and meet demanding deadlines
  • Methodical approach to work coupled with a great sense of initiative
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
  • Excellent planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • The ability to carry out research, interpret data and communicate the results to company stakeholders
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and spoken
  • “Can do” attitude coupled with great team-playing abilities
