Are you an experienced HR professional looking for a new opportunity in Malta? Our client, a well-established retail company, is seeking to appoint a dedicated HR Generalist to join their team. Interested? We at Ceek would love to hear from you!

 

What's expected of you?

  • Oversee the full recruitment process for Malta staff, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding
  • Collaborate with department managers to determine staffing needs and create job descriptions
  • Source candidates via job boards, social media, and professional networks
  • Conduct initial screenings, schedule interviews, and facilitate new hire orientation
  • Address employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances, ensuring timely resolution
  • Implement and enforce HR policies in compliance with labour laws and company standards
  • Investigate employee disputes and disciplinary issues, recommending appropriate actions
  • Stay current with labour laws to ensure company compliance
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR system updates

 

What are you expected to bring?

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Thorough understanding of Maltese employment laws and regulations
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships and gain trust with employees at all levels
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience managing sensitive and confidential information discreetly
  • Skilled in using HR software and the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Fluency in English is essential
