What is expected of you?

  • Accurately input and update employee information in the payroll system, covering personal details, salary changes, benefits, and deductions
  • Assist the Payroll Manager in processing payroll, which includes computing wages, overtime, bonuses, and commissions
  • Address employee inquiries about payroll, taxes, deductions, and benefits in a professional and prompt manner
  • Escalate complex payroll issues to the Payroll Manager for resolution
  • Manage sick leave and injury cases, maintain records, arrange for company medical evaluations, and provide necessary documentation
  • Organize and safeguard confidential payroll records such as pay stubs, tax forms, and related documents.
  • Assist in administering employee health insurance programs and annual renewals
  • Collaborate with the Payroll Manager to generate payroll reports for management and financial analysis
  • Utilize payroll software and HRIS systems to manage and process payroll data
  • Work closely with the HR department to reconcile employee data and resolve discrepancies
  • Identify opportunities for enhancing payroll processes and contribute to process optimization efforts

 

What are you expected to bring?

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Possession of a diploma or its equivalent, a certificate related with Accounting/Finance/Payroll is an asset
  • Proficiency in utilizing payroll software, preferably Shireburn, and HRIS systems, ideally Bamboo
  • Fundamental understanding of payroll regulations, tax laws, and labour laws
  • Exceptional attention to detail and precision in data entry and record maintenance
  • Fluent in the English language
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Capable of handling confidential information discreetly
  • Proficient in organizational and time management skills
