HR & Payroll Administration - Malta

Are you detail-oriented and passionate about HR operations? We’re looking for an HR & Payroll Admin to manage payroll, maintain the HRIS, and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies. What's expected of you?

  • Process and administer payroll accurately and on time
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, social security contributions, and other statutory requirements
  • Handle payroll adjustments, including overtime, bonuses, and deductions
  • Address payroll-related inquiries from employees
  • Collaborate with finance and accounting teams for payroll reconciliation and reporting
  • Process new employee paperwork and maintain accurate records in the HRIS and other systems
  • Create and manage both digital and physical employee records, ensuring they are updated regularly
  • Maintain accurate employee records, processing any changes in personal details, roles, or wages in a timely manner
  • Coordinate employment and termination processes with JobsPlus
  • Manage work permits, employment licenses, and National Insurance (NI) applications for TCNs
  • Track probation and contract end dates, preparing the necessary documentation
  • Issue various HR letters, including bank, childcare, student, reference, and probation letters
  • Update and distribute company organization charts as needed
  • Support other HR-related activities and administrative duties as required

 

What are you expected to bring?

  • Qualifications in HR, Finance or Business Administration will be an asset
  • Experience in payroll processing and HRIS administration
  • Strong knowledge of Labor laws, payroll tax regulations, and compliance standards
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills, maintain confidentiality, and be proactive in
  • supporting both employees and the organization
  • Professional, reliable, and committed to fostering a positive work environment
