What’s expected of you?

  • Manage the process of new work permit applications, ensuring compliance with local regulations and collaborate with government agencies and legal partners to secure timely approvals
  • Monitor and facilitate the renewal of work permits
  • Verify and collect onboarding documents from new employees and coordinate orientation sessions, delivering vital information about company culture, policies, and procedures
  • Collaborate with various departments to improve the overall onboarding experience for new employees
  • Design and conduct employee feedback surveys and polls to assess satisfaction and pinpoint areas for improvement
  • File, coordinate, and organize employee and HR-related documents to facilitate smooth HR operations
  • Assist in the preparation of templates, policy and SOP updates and other relevant documentation required for employee letters and funding applications.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of document management systems to streamline HR processes
  • Maintain employee records, guaranteeing adherence to data protection laws
  • Generate monthly reports on HR metrics, compile presentations for team meetings and assist in the coordination and planning of HR-related social and team events

 

What are you expected to bring?

  • An educational background in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience processing Maltese work permits
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Keen attention to detail in document processing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with HRIS, preferably Bamboo HR
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to promote a positive and collaborative work environment
