What's expected of you?

  • Design and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue goals and provide regular updates to management
  • Pursue and secure new business opportunities by engaging with corporate clients, NGOs, and forming strategic partnerships
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, such as travel agencies and online travel platforms
  • Conduct market research to monitor industry trends and guide decision-making processes
  • Collaborate with the reservations team to refine pricing strategies and boost revenue
  • Develop and execute marketing initiatives across digital platforms, social media, and traditional media
  • Manage the hotel’s online presence and produce new content regularly
  • Coordinate promotional events and represent the hotel at trade shows to attract clients
  • Review and analyze sales data to measure success and identify areas for improvement
  • Partner with other departments to ensure a seamless and exceptional guest experience
  • Address guest inquiries and provide support before, during, and after their stay

 

What are you expected to bring?

  • Previous experience in event planning, sales, business development, or a similar field, with a track record of successfully managing events, increasing revenue, and securing new clients
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients, vendors, and colleagues
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Creativity, resourcefulness, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and occasional travel, as required for events, client meetings, and business development activities
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills
