What is expected of you?

Provide leadership in the development and continuous evaluation of short-
and long-term strategic financial objectives
Analyze business performance and provide recommendations to optimize profitability and growth
Develop and implement the company's financial strategies, including long-term financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
Implement and monitor all financial policies and procedures
Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions, including management accounts, year-end statutory audits, and reporting to directors during board meetings
Ensure timely and accurate internal financial reporting, including group-level reporting and reporting to regulators or other authorities
Work on ad hoc projects and financial modeling related to new products and/or business lines
Provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities
Ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies
Lead internal and external audits and implement robust processes
Team leadership and stakeholder management
Ensure appropriate team resources, skills, and capabilities to support business growth and address risks
Set and establish team objectives and priorities through discussions with relevant stakeholders, ensuring alignment with the business agenda
Conduct regular performance, engagement, and development reviews, including career discussions with the team
Ensure team members work effectively and proactively with business teams to advise and assist in managing risk and compliance matters

What are you expected to bring?

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master’s degree or professional accounting qualification is highly desirable
At least 5 years of experience in financial management
Comprehensive knowledge of financial statistics and accounting principles.
Familiarity with statutory legislation and regulatory requirements
Demonstrated expertise in financial planning and analysis, with hands-on experience managing finance, accounting, budgeting, control, and reporting functions
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities
Proficient in using financial software and systems
Strong leadership and organizational capabilities
Meticulous attention to detail and capacity to perform effectively under pressure
