Are you an experienced and strategic finance professional? Our client, a key player in the environmental infrastructure sector, is looking for a Head of Finance to lead their growing finance department. If you are looking for a new challenge, we at Ceek would love to hear from you!

 

What's expected of you?

  • Efficiently allocate financial resources to support operational needs.

  • Monitor and maintain healthy cash flow levels to ensure liquidity and financial stability.

  • Lead the budgeting process, collaborating with relevant departments to set realistic financial targets.

  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop strategies to achieve financial goals.

  • Prepare accurate financial forecasts to inform decision-making and strategic planning.

  • Oversee the preparation of management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

  • Generate ad hoc financial reports as required by management for decision support.

  • Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate the timely completion of statutory audits.

  • Implement cost control measures to optimize spending and maximize profitability.

  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures to manage stock levels efficiently.

  • Monitor inventory movements and reconcile physical inventory with accounting records.

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.

  • Develop and maintain robust financial planning and control processes to safeguard assets and mitigate risks.

 

What are you expected to bring?

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree education in Finance or Accounting (MQF Level 6). A master's degree is considered advantageous.

  • In possession of a CPA warrant

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a managerial role

  • A strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements

  • A demonstrated history of success in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis

  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; and proficiency in financial software

  • A positive attitude, objectivity in challenging situations and an ability to meet deadlines

  • Independent and innovative problem solver
