Do you want to be part of a leading insurance company in Malta that is also known globally? We at Ceek are looking for a Head of Accounting to oversee and guide the whole accounting team.

What is expected of you?

Head and lead the accounting department
Motivate and create a departmental culture and vision
Give continuous support to build talent and improve initiative across the finance department
Maintain the insurance accounting schemes, manual entries controls, and intercompany reconciliations
Follow up general ledger accounts reconciliations and VAT
Create and update annual financial statements, management accounts, and accounting controls certificate
Allocate duties for the accounting team
Liaise with auditors with year end audits and finance and accounting procedures
Review and supervise the consolidation processes with shareholders

What are you expected to bring?

Be a fully qualified Accountant and have management experience
Excellent reporting and communication skills
Strong analytical and leadership skills
Ability to adapt to changes in short periods of time
Strong judgement and the eagerness to develop talents within the team
