Would you like to join a leading accounting firm in Malta? One of our clients is seeking to recruit a proactive and professional accounting individual to join their finance team as Head of Accounting. The chosen individual will lead, mentor, and develop a team of about 15 accountants.

What’s expected of you?

Manage client relationships, overseeing the preparation and review of financial reports
Coordinate multiple client projects to ensure timely delivery and adherence to budgets
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards
Contribute to the development and execution of the firm's strategic goals
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement effective solutions
Maintain clear communication with clients to understand their needs and expectations
Monitor project progress, addressing any issues to keep projects on track
Any other additional ad-hoc duties that might be assigned from time to time

What are you expected to bring?

ACCA or a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
At least 5 years of accounting experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
High level of integrity and professionalism.
Process, results, and client-oriented mindset.
