Handyman

What is expected of you?

• Liaise with both Housekeeping and Front Office on scheduled maintenance work
• Check in-house activities on a daily basis
• Perform regular controls of diesel, fuel, gas, and other supplies required for the hotel's smooth and ongoing functioning
• Ensure that maintenance tasks are completed efficiently, effectively, and in a timely manner
• Make sure that Pool water quality is kept according to Government regulations
• Ensure that workshop and storerooms are kept clean and organized
• Perform maintenance activities in guest rooms and hotel public areas like plunging toilets, unclogging drains, paint etc
• Assists technician in daily running of hotel
• Check for new maintenance requests from the PMS (Property Management System)
• Perform other duties assigned by the Management
• Maintain working area, material and company property clean, tidy and in good condition
• Continuously seeks to endeavor and improve the efficient operation of the department, and knowledge of own job function

What are you expected to bring?

• A minimum of 2 years’ working experience in a similar role
• Written and verbal communication English is required
• Solid experience with plumbing and electrical systems
• Ability to work with hardware tools and power equipment
• Detail-orientated with an aptitude for problem-solving
• Willingness to have a flexible work schedule
• Be updated on hotel fire and emergency procedures, health and safety policies and procedure
