Group Financial Controller

Are you ready to take on a high-impact role in a dynamic, fast-growing group of companies operating across multiple industries? We are looking for an experienced Group Financial Controller to drive financial strategy, optimise performance, and support our client’s ambitious growth plans.

 

What is expected of you?

  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the Group’s financial reporting in alignment with regulatory requirements and internal policies
  • Lead the preparation and consolidation of financial statements, management reports, and statutory filings across the Group
  • Drive the planning and execution of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and periodic performance reviews
  • Oversee and enhance internal controls, accounting procedures, and financial systems to promote accuracy and transparency
  • Manage cash flow and monitor working capital to maintain liquidity and support ongoing operational needs
  • Collaborate with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial consultants to ensure compliance and timely submission of financial deliverables
  • Deliver financial insights and analysis to inform decision-making, drive cost efficiency, and support business improvement initiatives
  • Contribute to the Group’s financial planning efforts, ensuring alignment with short- and medium-term strategic objectives
  • Participate in the financial assessment of new projects and business ventures, including due diligence activities
  • Stay current with changes in legislation, accounting standards, and tax regulations to ensure ongoing compliance
  • Support tax planning and reporting activities across the Group, as needed

 

What are you expected to bring?

  • ACCA certified or equivalent professional accounting qualification
  • 8–10 years of progressive experience in financial management, preferably within a group or multi-entity structure
  • Demonstrated success in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting in dynamic, fast-paced environments
  • In-depth knowledge of IFRS and statutory financial reporting standards
  • Extensive experience in budgeting, forecasting, and conducting detailed financial analysis
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with a proven ability to influence and collaborate across functions
  • Proficient in financial systems and analytical tools; familiarity with ERP platforms is highly desirable
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with strong analytical skills and a proactive, solutions-focused approach
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly
