What's expected of you?

  • Supervise all facets of the retail operation, providing regular updates to the Board of Directors
  • Lead a team of 15 employees, including a dynamic sales team
  • Oversee daily business operations, ensuring seamless workflow from quotes and orders to delivery and installation
  • Guide, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering motivation to meet business goals
  • Create and execute strategies to boost sales and meet revenue targets
  • Stay informed on industry trends and evolving market conditions
  • Conduct regular staff performance reviews to evaluate effectiveness and identify areas for growth
  • Promote a customer-first approach, ensuring excellent service throughout the sales process
  • Address and resolve any business issues that may arise
  • Manage inventory levels to optimise stock and control costs
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements
  • Track financial performance, analyse data, and identify opportunities for cost saving
  • Strengthen the company's presence on social media platforms
  • Drive efforts to attract new business and grow the customer base

 

What are you expected to bring?

  • A Degree in Business Administration or related field
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a General Manager
  • Proven experience driving sales growth and developing successful sales strategies
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work environment
  • Expertise in managing daily operations, including inventory, supply chain, and logistics
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure
  • Familiarity with marketing strategies to drive business growth, as well as knowledge of HR policies and practices
  • Willingness to travel internationally
  • Fluency in both Maltese and English
