What’s expected of you?

  • Managing and processing the opening and maintenance of customer accounts, including ongoing monitoring, KYC, and due diligence obligations
  • Continuously monitoring transactions to ensure compliance
  • Conducting risk assessments on both new and existing clients in accordance with the Bank's procedures
  • Providing support for inquiries from law enforcement and regulatory bodies
  • Maintaining the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) database
  • Contributing to the creation and review of internal policies and procedures.
  • Aiding in regulatory submissions
  • Handling external AML and ATF compliance reporting requirements
  • Conducting routine Jurisdiction Reviews following the Bank's procedures
  • Promptly reporting any suspicious transactions, activities, or clients to the attention of the MLRO
  • Assisting with specific projects as they arise.
  • Undertaking various administrative and risk-related tasks to support the Bank's Second Line function

 

What are you expected to bring?

  • Presently holding or nearing the completion of a professional qualification in banking, financial services, or related fields
  • Demonstrating a strong desire to acquire knowledge and embark on a career within the financial sector
  • Exhibiting ethical principles, integrity, and a steadfast dedication to upholding confidentiality
  • Possessing effective communication abilities in both written and spoken English
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office
  • Holding qualifications related to AML/CFT and/or expertise in financial crime will be considered an asset
