Financial Assistant - iGaming

What is expected of you?

• Accurately record all financial transactions, categorize expenses, and maintain organized records for easy tracking and reporting.
• Perform regular reconciliations to ensure alignment between company records and bank statements, promptly resolving any discrepancies.
• Assist in organizing financial documentation and preparing reports for senior accountants, facilitating smooth financial processes.
• Support the preparation and submission of VAT returns, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and deadlines.
• Utilize Sage accounting software to input financial data accurately, maintaining up-to-date and organized records.
• Coordinate and manage financial schedules, deadlines, and appointments, ensuring timely completion of tasks and compliance with financial obligations.
• Depending on capacity and expertise, support other financial tasks such as annual returns and corporate matters to contribute to overall finance operations.

What are you expected to bring?

• In possession or in the process of obtaining an Accounting qualification
• Previous experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles is advantageous
• Proficiency in using accounting software, especially Sage
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Knowledge of VAT regulations and experience in preparing VAT returns is a plus
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
