Financial Analyst

What is expected of you?

• Stay updated on both local and global financial markets on a consistent basis
• Analyze and assess financial statements from predominantly Maltese corporations, as well as some international entities
• Develop informed judgments regarding the investment potential of these firms, and draft comprehensive reports intended for both internal reference and external publication
• Participate in analyst meetings and other corporate events hosted by listed local companies
• Create various reports with the purpose of internal use or external distribution
• Carry out any other ad-hoc tasks as needed

What are you expected to bring?

• In possession of a degree in banking, economics, finance, or related fields. Alternatively, pursue studies like CFA, CEFA, or CISI's Capital Markets and Corporate Finance qualifications
• Minimum of two years' experience in financial analysis, valuation, or a strong interest and understanding of financial markets and investments
• The ability to analyse and perform valuations of companies as well as present insights to internal Investment Committees
• Excellent report writing, organization, and time management skills
• Fluent proficiency in written and spoken English
• Capable of taking ownership of assigned tasks, work independently, and meet established timelines
• Have proficiency in Microsoft Excel
