A well-established company, within the manufacturing sector, is seeking to employ a Financial Analyst to provide day-to-day financial support. If you consider yourself a number cruncher and have an excellent eye for detail, we at Ceek would like to hear from you!
What is expected of you?
- Assist with month-end reporting, budget preparation, and ad hoc reports
- Manage asset registers and stock control reports
- Oversee the standard costing model for accurate cost and sales reporting
- Monitor and report factory variances as needed
- Ensure compliance with finance guidelines and controls
- Support preparation of profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements
- Ensure accuracy of the Nominal Ledger and reconcile major accounts
- Prepare VAT returns
What are you expected to bring?
- Part-qualified Accountant or equivalent qualification
- Previous work experience in a similar sector will be considered an asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Cost Accounting knowledge and experience
- Analytical and financial modeling skills
- Attention to detail
