Finance Manager

A well-established client of ours is seeking to recruit a Finance Manager who will be responsible for managing their Accounts team. If you excel in leadership skills and have managerial expertise, we at Ceek want to hear from you!

What is expected of you?

• Manage and lead the accounts team to deal with operational matters
• Maintain the financial ledgers, ensure the integrity and completeness of accounting records, as well as improve the Group entities’ accounting internal process and control systems
• Coordinate with and support the CFCO, CEO, and other Group management with any reporting requirements
• Review the product payment process as well as payroll computation
• Monitor accounts receivable and set meetings with clients
• Handle the accounts payable and ensure that supplier reconciliations are performed in line with established schedules and suppliers are paid in a timely manner on a regular basis
• Oversee and ensure timely reporting to management on accounts receivables, cashflow position, and manage the cashflow forecast to meet payment schedules
• Prepare and review management accounts and other internal reporting in a timely manner
• Support external auditors in carrying out the financial audit of the Group entities
• Motivate, lead, and train employees and appraise their performance
• Develop the team to secure a proper succession plan and allow talent growth
• Perform any other duties that may arise from time to time

What are you expected to bring?

• A fully qualified accountant
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting
• Sound working knowledge of IFRSs
• At least 2 years’ managerial experience 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good financial accounting and analytical skills
