What's expected of you?

Stay informed and up to date with all hotel and Corinthia Group policies, ensuring adherence to standard practices
Assist in maintaining internal control systems to safeguard hotel assets and revenue effectively
Maintain and manage all accounting records in line with Corporate Office requirements
Ensure compliance with local laws and fiscal regulations affecting the hotel’s financial matters
Safeguard, update, and manage all leases, contracts, and legal documents impacting the hotel's financial status
Reconcile bank statements by the end of each month
Perform monthly intercompany reconciliations accurately and on time
Review all finance journals prior to their upload
Maintain and update the contract registry consistently
Oversee the month-end close process, including preparation of management accounts, supervising team members, and assisting with their queries
Ensure timely closure of financial books and prepare all required financial data accurately
Handle local tax matters, including income tax and VAT, and prepare quarterly VAT returns
Assist the Director of Finance with departmental tasks and arising issues as needed

What are you expected to bring?

A degree in hotel management or accounting
A minimum of three years of experience, ideally in a hotel environment
Strong verbal and written English communication skills
Proficiency in computer literacy
Results-oriented, enthusiastic, and equipped with strong analytical and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to maintain consistent standards, manage priorities, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
