Finance Manager

What is expected of you?     

• Oversee the preparation of the Group's management and financial statements    
• Manage the accounting team and monitoring work in progress within the internal accounts department    
• Proposing annual budgets of expenditure and revenue forecasts for the upcoming financial year in alignmen with Group policies   
• Offer guidance on technical issues related to Group’s accounts
• Act as a liaison and point of reference for all Group departments on accounting matters    
• Handle and manage accounting tools     
• Approve payments and serve as an authorized signatory      
• Oversee the Group's statutory audit     
• Take responsibility for the preparation of the Group's fiscal returns

What are you expected to bring?     

• Be a fully qualified accountant or in final stages of becoming qualified     
• Have a minimum of two years' experience in finance within an internal accounting function     
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.    
• Possess a proactive and ethical approach, with the ability to work independently in demanding environments   
• Excellent leadership skills, coupled with the ability to promote effective relationships with colleagues and management 
• Ability to influence and motivate the team to implement plans focused on significant change and process improvement     
• Be an innovative team player able to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines   
• Proficient user of Microsoft
• Applications, especially MS Excel.        
• Experience with Xero would be considered an asset
