Finance Executive

We are looking for a Finance Executive to join a dynamic team that operates within various sectors ranging from food retail to logistics, building materials, and more. The chosen candidate will be reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer.

What is expected of you?

• Perform bank and suppliers’ reconciliations
• Prepare the quarterly VAT returns and VAT payments
• Issue payments to suppliers
• Liaise with auditors
• Prepare and monitor cash flows on a regular basis
• Day-to-day inputting of invoices
• Prepare monthly management accounts
• Regularly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
• Other ad-hoc duties that might be assigned by management

What are you expected to bring?

• Previous experience in a similar role
• In the final stages of obtaining an accountancy degree or equivalent qualification
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Maltese
• Flexible, adaptable, and willing to learn
• Good analytical skills
• Accuracy and attention to detail
