Finance Executive

What’s expected of you?

• Liaise with the Director of Finance and auditors on controls and figures, establishing and putting in place controls for all revenues and expenses
• Oversee the duties of other accounting personnel in the team
• Prepare documentation for management accounts and those requested
• Follow up on capital expenditures to ensure compliance with approval and original justification
• Implement and maintain acceptable accounting practices and procedures as required by corporate policies and procedures, generally accepted accounting practices, and those affected by local conditions
• Oversee suppliers processing of invoices and reconciliation of statements
• Liaise with Operations on finance related requirements
• Keep up to date with technologies in the field
• Maximise cash flow performance of the company
• Provide administrative support to management and assist with any special projects or ad-hoc financial tasks required by the Director of Finance

What are you expected to bring?

• Minimum of A level standard in Accounts
• Two years’ experience in a similar position, ideally in retail
• Previous use of SUN system would be preferred
• Organised and able to meet deadlines
• A team player with a positive attitude who is able to work independently as well
