Facilities and Projects Manager

One of Malta’s most stable company is currently looking for a highly motivated Facilities & Projects Manager. The role involves key responsibilities related to the management of important projects whilst ensuring the highest standards of all facilities and infrastructures. What is expected of you?

  • Make sure that all facilities are well equipped, and manage the upkeep of equipment, facilities and supplies to meet Health and Safety standards
  • Plan and perform regular inspections to determine the need for repairs and maintenance
  • Uphold maintenance and certification plans up to date as per company procedures
  • Promote a Health and Safety culture within the company by ensuring continuous training to all employees, and formulate new policies and procedures
  • Assist in the designing, planning and delivery of new projects
  • Record and communicate any project’s progress, delays or concerns
  • Ensure that projects are delivered within the agreed timelines and costs
  • Coordinate with the Procurement Department and implement cost-saving initiatives
  • Be ready to act for any emergencies that may occur within the facilities and infrastructures


What are you expected to bring?

  • A minimum of 3 years’ engineering practice (preferably related to M&E installations or facilities management)
  • A minimum of 3 years’ project management experience
  • Excellent project management skills and fluent with project management software such as MS Project, ACAD etc.
  • Great organisational and leadership skills
  • Ability to deal and negotiate with company-certified suppliers
  • Good communication skills in the English and Maltese languages
