What's expected of you?

Analyse geographic and demographic data to develop effective international sales strategies
Conduct market research to identify key clients, establish strong trade relationships, and maximise sales through new partners and customers
Build and maintain strong relationships with international customers, handling inquiries and ensuring high levels of satisfaction
Ensure products meet local and international regulations, including ingredients, labelling, and import requirements
Coordinate logistics for overseas shipments, selecting cost-effective and efficient shipping methods
Collaborate with production and supply chain teams to forecast demand and ensure timely delivery
Manage and resolve customs and delivery issues during the export process
Identify and propose opportunities to promote the company's products in export markets and at international food fairs
Oversee export budgets and ensure cost-effective operations
Analyse sales data, providing regular reports and recommendations to management
Maintain updated documentation for target markets, including key contacts and administrative details

What are you expected to bring?

A minimum of five years of experience in a similar position, preferably within the food industry
Strong analytical and budgeting expertise
Demonstrated success in developing and growing international markets
Proficient in CRM, ERP, and Microsoft Office
Capable of working independently with excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Outstanding negotiation and communication skills
Fluent in English, both spoken and written
