Enterprise Support Specialist

What's expected of you?

  • Implement and maintain the design and optimization of our clients' ICT server/storage infrastructure, networks, and software systems
  • Stay updated on the latest Server and Storage Enterprise technologies to effectively deploy and support solutions for our clients
  • Support the Business Development team in pre-sales activities, including Technical Sales presentations, Demonstrations, and System Design & Sizing
  • Take charge as the primary lead during project implementation, managing Project management and intra-team coordination
  • Act as the primary support contact throughout the contract duration
  • Offer hands-on system maintenance, system administration, and operational support for Server and Storage Solutions
  • Conduct analysis on the capacity, availability, and performance of servers and storage, providing recommendations
  • Maintain close communication with customers throughout the support contract, identifying new upsell opportunities, system improvements, and necessary upgrades
  • Provide hands-on system maintenance, system administration, and operational support for Vmware ESXi, Linux, and Microsoft Windows operating systems in Server and Storage Solutions
  • Offer support for Vmware, Veeam, and Dell Enterprise Solutions
  • Coordinate vendor notifications and patches, prioritize and manage multiple issues concurrently
  • Resolve client issues remotely through various channels such as phone, email, chat, etc
  • Follow up with clients to ensure their IT systems are fully functional after troubleshooting
  • Utilize Raiseaticket helpdesk or similar tools to handle tickets and cases
  • Track issues through to resolution within agreed time limits
  • Research and assess new technologies while obtaining industry certifications


What are you expected to bring?

  • At least 5 years of experience in a comparable role
  • Proficient in Dell (or other vendor) technologies, with expertise in storage or hardware appliances
  • Knowledge of virtualized environments, particularly VMWare, backup solutions, networking, Windows Server, and Linux server operating systems is advantageous
  • Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in IT or relevant brand certifications is as an asset
  • Demonstrated strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Effective communication skills in both written and spoken English
  • A flexible, open-minded, and creative individual who thrives on challenges
  • Exhibits a professional approach in managing customer relationships, addressing their requests in a prompt and considerate manner
