What is expected of you?
  • Ensure all repairs and maintenance tasks are completed to the highest standards, within the shortest time, and done correctly on the first attempt.
  • Update the machine status using the OFX system before and after any intervention and inform the team leader accordingly.
  • Handle loads up to 20kg and work at heights as required for the role.
  • Be trained and competent in operating equipment such as forklifts, tackers, and motorized/non-motorized elevated platforms.
  • Ensure that all necessary work permits are obtained before starting and after completing tasks in designated areas.
  • Read and interpret schematic and general arrangement diagrams relevant to the specialization field.
  • Participate in the installation of equipment and infrastructure systems while maintaining accurate breakdown reports and fault logs.
  • Adhere to De La Rue’s policies, including Environmental Health and Safety, ethics, and codes of conduct, while embracing lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
  • Maintain a good OEE by ensuring a healthy reporting system (handovers) and performing preventive maintenance (PMs) on time as per checklists.
  • Proactively recommend improvements by making correct use of red tags and ensuring timely PM execution.
  • Utilize the OFX system effectively for reporting, tracking improvements, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Support operations with Autonomous Maintenance (AM) activities and ensure proper stock-keeping of spare parts by reporting usage and identifying necessary items.
  • Align with site Safety and Security requirements by maintaining a well-organized workplace, contributing to SaS/OOPs forms, conducting Dynamic Risk Assessments, and recognizing colleagues' contributions through Hi5.
  • Strong awareness of risk assessment, safety, and adherence to company procedures.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team with good communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, goal-driven, and committed to achieving QCD targets and continuous improvement.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and aligned with DLR values, with a positive attitude toward growth and development.
     
What are you expected to bring?
  • MQF Level 4 or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, or any other Engineering field.
  • Background in repair and maintenance.
  • Proficiency in English at C1 level or higher.
  • Strong fault-finding abilities across mechatronics, including electrical, electronics, IT, and mechanics.
  • Skilled in using common office applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite.
