What’s expected of you?
Set clear mechanisms and targets for individual maintenance supervisors to ensure they provide sufficient input for the business plan.
Balance maintenance team resources to effectively meet targets while maintaining collaboration and seamless handovers across teams.
Leverage TPM and lean manufacturing tools to enhance personnel efficiency, streamline processes, and optimize energy usage.
Ensure the maintenance department continually develops and retains critical engineering and maintenance skills.
Identify and implement new processes, equipment, and technological advancements that align with business needs.
Oversee the departmental budget, monitor variances, and manage projects, including introducing new equipment, processes, and continuous improvements.
What are you expected to bring?
Hold a degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Science, or a related mathematical field, with knowledge of project management methodologies such as Prince 2 being an advantage.
Demonstrated extensive experience in senior roles within a manufacturing environment, preferably in FMCG.
Strong leadership capabilities with proven expertise in managing teams and implementing lean manufacturing practices.
Possess or be eligible to obtain an engineering warrant.
Proficiency in English is essential, with Italian or other languages considered a valuable asset.
