Purchasing Officer

What’s expected of you?

• Build and maintain a strong business relationship with suppliers
• Send shipment plans to suppliers on a monthly basis
• Prepare costing sheets for imported products
• Maintain records of goods ordered and received
• Manage purchase orders for imported finished products and full service vending products
• Monitor weekly sales trends and adjusting forecasts as required
• Ad hoc duties related to the role when needed

What are you expected to bring?

• One year’s plus experience in a similar environment
• A level Standard of education or equivalent
• ECDL Certification, especially Excel and Word
• Knowledge of SAP ordering systems would be an asset
• Committed to quality and a thorough approach to work
• Flexible attitude and able to work to deadlines
