We are currently seeking to recruit a Data Protection Officer on behalf of a client operating within the financial services industry. If you are looking for a new opportunity within a stable and growing environment, Ceek would like to hear from you!

What is expected of you?

Monitor and ensure that the company remains compliant with the GDPR and the Data Protection Act
Provide advice to the company on any matter concerning data protection
Monitor developments on legislation concerning data protection and privacy
Act as the main point of contact point the company and data subjects
Assist in responding to any queries concerning data protection
Represent the company in any meeting whether locally or abroad
Carry out or assist in any audits regarding the company’s data protection processes
Other duties that may be assigned

What are you expected to bring?

A degree in Law, IT or in any other relevant area
Great knowledge and experience of data protection principles and laws
Working experience as a data protection officer
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
