Do you have the drive to develop a role from scratch? Do you thrive on maximising efficiency and productivity? We are looking for a Cost Analyst (full time/reduced) on behalf of a client in the manufacturing industry. If you have the right qualifications and/or experience, we want to hear from you!

 

What is expected of you?

  • Implement lean flow
  • Allocate the yearly budget based on the earlier
  • Consult with stakeholders to agree targets and be initiative-taking with feedback
  • Analyse cost-variance, introduce cost control measures, and set up yearly standard costs to bring about cost savings and waste reduction
  • Ensure that targets agreed upon are met
  • Prepare and present month-end reports
  • Familiarise the team with new or changed processes
  • Research alternative suppliers
  • Improve logistics and stock management, identifying efficiency opportunities
  • Keep up-to-date with market specific issues and industry developments

 

What are you expected to bring?

  • ACCA, CIMA or similar qualification in finance, experience will also be considered
  • A comprehensive knowledge of the manufacturing industry, including costings integration, maintenance, handling, and quality insurance
