Compliance Officer

Ready for a new challenge in Compliance! We are seeking to recruit a Compliance Officer to join a fast-growing company in Malta. If you are looking for a new venture, we at Ceek would like to hear from you!

What is expected of you?

• Implement controls to prevent money laundering and financing of terrorism
• Tackle compliance audits and regularly review client report manuals, processes & procedures
• Advise and assist the persons responsible for carrying out the investment business
• Draft and maintain corporate governance documents as well as assess the adequacy and effectiveness of the company's compliance measures
• Monitor, record, and deal with complaints if they arise
• Help in on-boarding and screening of new clients and perform work towards any regulatory bodies
• Prepare and review regular ad-hoc reports and information statistics for senior management and board of directors
• Perform work relating to one-off compliance and regulatory projects as they may arise from time-to-time

What are you expected to bring?

• Degree in Law, AML, Compliance, Financial Services or Post-Graduate studies
• 1 year’ experience in a similar post in compliance within the financial services sector
• Be IT literate
• Be organised and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
